Challenge - Making the connection between audio and visual devices has always been a challenge for consumer electronics. With dozens of different connectors and hundreds of standards this is a constant frustration with users. CII wanted to change all this by developing a series of interconnectivity panels that would become the hub of data in the hotel room.
Results - Both ATOM’s branding and product teams played an instrumental role in shaping what has been proclaimed as the most revolutionary in-room technology to occur in five decades in the hospitality industry. The team instantly infused quality and high perceived value with wave aesthetics, usability and naming. Embedded with auto-sensing, the guest has access to connect their own entertainment system such as an iPod, Xbox or Nintendo game system, or connect their laptop while charging, establishing the guestLINK the media hub of the future.
